Maintenance and repairs
We also provide a full maintenance and repair service for all types of solar thermal systems.
We have been contacted by many customers requesting either service or repair of their solar systems. Many of these systems have been fitted by companies no longer in business with parts difficult to replace. We provide a friendly and cost effective service to get your system up and running again as quickly as possible.
We can provide either a one-off repair or service. We will visit your premises, establish any faults and give a fixed quotation for the required work.
Fixed cost system service
Comprises:
- Re-calling any faults
- Checking solar transfer fluid
- Testing pressure relief valve (if roof mounted +£25)
- Checking/re-pressurising of expansion vessel
- Checking system pipework for leakage and signs of weeping
- Checking/bleeding/re-pressurising of system
- Checking temperature difference controller settings are correct
Maintenance and service guide prices
- Fixed cost service (as above), where no repair work is required, from £65 +VAT@17.5%
- Solar transfer fluid change from £55 +VAT@17.5%
- System flushing and cleaning from £75 +VAT@17.5%
- Other work subject to fixed price quotation
